At Hillsdon Road Centre Taringa, we have a beautiful leafy courtyard area, surrounded by gardens and with a killer view up to Mt Cootha, it's an unique thing to find in Shopping Centre. Our small business owners work hard at providing good value, high quality services. They take pride in what they do and love being located in our vintage little spot.
Since 1930's this little corner has been providing a local hub for residents and passer's by, tradies and even the local Indooroopilly Police! We work hard to make sure our space is green, enjoyable and clean. We love meeting the locals and love seeing them enjoy this garden setting.

Well, what a beautiful morning it was down at Hillsdon Road Centre today. To walk around the corner and see a beautiful array of gorgeous flowers, sitting on the grass in our lovely courtyard garden. Thank you 'Friday Flowers' our local Florist based in Woolley Street, for wanting to come down and sell flowers on Valentines Day in our little Centre. It looked just divine and I got so many compliments on what a lovely idea it was.
People were sitting out enjoying Abode Cafe's food and coffee, Smooth @ Taringa had some lovely decorations and specials out on display. The whole corner was feeling the love! So maybe we can do this again next year? Mothers Day?

Our little Centre at Taringa is a wonderful little place. A perfect mix of small business people working hard to provide convenience for our locals. Operating since the late 1920's - early 1930's Hillsdon Road Centres has seen a range of small businesses operate and enjoy this Heritage listed Centre as their home.
A Draper, a Butcher, A Dressmaker, Shoe repairer, Hairdressers, a local library, Grocery, Fish & Chip shop, Deli, Cafe, Beauty & Skin Care, Laundromat, Gift Shop, Surveyor, Solicitors office, ......even our own resident Artist!! Leesa Bradford and her funky Studio/Gallery space.
It's a treat looking in the window every time you walk past. It gets even better when you go inside. Stunning black and white decor, a wonderful collection of art pieces by Leesa and visiting artists. A beautiful range of jewellery made by a local craftsperson. It's worth popping in and relaxing - enjoying the art. Whether you are walking past or filling in time at the Laundromat next door. Grab a coffee from around the corner and pop on in for a few minutes.
